Just a little bit of lacrosse across the Inner Harbor

Now that's a toss!

Aided by a frozen-over Inner Harbor, lacrosse players Paul Rabil and Drew Westervelt played one heckuva game of catch recently, using their lacrosse sticks to toss a ball from one side of the harbor to the other.

You can see their far-flinging game of catch in the video above. (Thanks to a Friday morning post on baltimorefishbowl.com for bringing this clip to our attention.)

No word on how this accomplishment will benefit anyone's lacrosse game, as the harbor is far longer and wider than your standard lacrosse field. And hopefully, no one plans on trying this now that the weather has warmed, the ice has largely disppaeared and more people are milling about.

Still, that is one bodacious toss.
