Weather closings and delays in the Baltimore area

Here's what's closed, canceled or delayed because of weather in the Baltimore area.

Freezing rain overnight left icy conditions on roads and sidewalks in the Baltimore area Tuesday morning. Though temperatures are expected to rise, several area attractions and businesses closed or delayed opening. 

Below is a list of closings, delays, and postponed or cancelled events because of weather. You can check school closings here.

The American Visionary Art Museum will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

All Anne Arundel County senior centers are closed and recreation programs are canceled Tuesday. Library branches will open at 1 p.m. Courts will open at 10 a.m.

Baltimore City and Baltimore County government offices will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. 

All Baltimore County Recreation and Parks programs are canceled Tuesday. 

The B&O Railroad Museum is closed on Tuesday.

The Baltimore Museum of Industry will open at noon Tuesday. 

Carroll County government offices will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. 

Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday. 

Harford County government offices will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. 

Howard County government offices will open at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. All county library branches will open at 11 a.m. 

Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. 

The Jewish Museum of Maryland will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday. 

The North Arundel Aquatic Center will open at noon Tuesday, but all scheduled programs are canceled. 

The Star-Spangled Banner Flag House is closed Tuesday.
