We all know that weddings aren't cheap. And neither are wedding expos.
I found a unique wedding expo this weekend that also happens to be free!
The Green Bridal Show & Event Expo at Baltimore City's Recreation and Park's Vollmer Center at Cylburn Arboretum focuses on eco-friendly and sustainable weddings.
The event will feature 25 vendors that specialize in everything from catering and photography to videographers and florists. Many of the vendors specialize in eco-friendly practices. For example, eight of the caterers practice the farm-to-table approach or use organic, locally sourced food, according to Laurie Boswell, event coordinator for Cylburn Arboretum and the Rawlings Conservatory.
"The folks have demonstrated a willingness and passion for environmental causes," said Boswell. "The cars they may use may be hybrid. The materials they use may be eco-friendly. They do as much as they can."
