Get in the Preakness mood with a free Black-Eyed Susan donut from Dunkin' Donuts.

The restaurant is marking the return of spring and the arrival of Preakness fever with the yellow-frosted and chocolate buttercreme-topped donut that hits stores today.

While you'll need to take a lap around the Pimlico track to burn off those calories, your wallet won't be any lighter if you snag a free Black-Eyed Susan donut at a special in-store event in Locust Point.

The first 100 people to visit the Dunkin' Donuts at McHenry Row (1615 Whetstone Way, Baltimore) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, will get the sweet treat for free.
