A movie, three cocktails, light fare and drink demonstrations all within the comforts of the plush Landmark Movie Theater for a reduced price?
Yes, but you'll need to clear your calendar - the deal is for tonight only.
Baltimore Cocktail Week is hosting a screening of the Jon Favreau film "Chef," which stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Dustin Hoffman and Sofia Vergara.
The film will be proceeded by a cocktail hour sponsored by four craft spirit suppliers and Heavy Seas Beer. During the cocktail hour, attendees will receive the equivalent of three cocktails. Finger foods will also be provided by Whole Foods.
As part of a special spring sale, organizers are discounting the usual $20 tickets to $14 if you use the code word "Cocktail" when purchasing tickets at the door.
The cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m. The movie will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. Discounted tickets are first come, first serve.
Organizer Ginny Lawhorn says that the tickets were already a deal. Movie tickets at the luxury theater are usually $12.50. Plus, guests will be getting the equivalent of three cocktails, which normally cost $8 each.
With the discount, you'll be saving $22.50. And saving others as a portion of tonight's proceeds will go to Moveable Feast, which helps provide food to Marylanders in need.
