Scene & Heard: Pathfinders for Autism Evening of Celebrity Fashion & Fun

Pictured: Chris Hoiles, Arthur Rhodes and Qadry Ismail model men's clothing at the Pathfinders for Autism "Evening of Celebrity Fashion & Fun." The Center Club was abuzz with almost 400 guests mingling in the bar and ballroom for "An Evening of Celebrity Fashion and Fun," the biennial fundraiser for Pathfinders for Autism, the charity founded by former Baltimore Oriole B.J. Surhoff and his wife, Polly Surhoff.

In the club's back meeting rooms, the evening's celebrity models were readying for the party's fashion show.

"It's great to have someone come in a do your hair and makeup," said Mia Hamm, U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame member. "I wish they could do that every day. ... I just hope I don't fall."

"I am trying to get my inner Zoolander on," said Qadry Ismail, former Baltimore Raven.

Meanwhile, Arthur Rhodes wasn't rattled by the ribbing he was getting from Ismail and former Baltimore Oriole and previous fashion-show participant Chris Hoiles about being the evening's rookie.

"I won a World Series last year; that's what I was nervous about," the former St. Louis Cardinal said. "I'm happy to be here, model some clothes, and hang out with the old guys."
