Take a look at recaps from the second season of HBO's "Looking."
In the final episode of the second season of HBO's "Looking," titled "Looking for Home," Patrick spots Kevin on the hookup app Grindr within hours of moving into their new place.
It's not far-fetched to think there are viewers out there who have also come to understand gay relationships more, through watching "Looking."
The best thing about this week's episode of HBO's "Looking" was that it gave viewers more insight into Doris' family history and past -- and Dom's as well, by extension.
Patrick immediately starts freaking out. Dom naturally steers him in the other direction, but chooses an odd turn of phrase in doing so. "Let's just back up," Dom says.
In this season's third episode of HBO's "Looking," aptly titled "Looking Top to Bottom," the three gay men at the show's center all seem to be searching for boyfriend material -- even if their choices at the moment, respectively, are an unavailable boss, a romantic partner with different ideas for the future, and a harmless bear who is up to the task socially, if not romantically.
When a raggedly-dressed and presumably homeless man on the street screams "CONFESS YOUR SINS!" as Patrick, Dom and Agustin pass by on their way to check out a rental space Dom is eyeing for a future restaurant, it's not just to lend the scene a gritty edge or to give Patrick and Agustin a reason to second-guess Dom's judgement.
It's a good thing uninvited but down-to-party gal pal Doris showed up and there happened to be a rave scheduled in the woods nearby, or the road trip of "peace and tranquility" that Patrick had in mind might have made for a boring season two premiere of "Looking."
