The AFI's annual documentary film festival, previously known as Silver Docs, takes place in Downtown D.C. and at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring June 17-21. It features more than 40 full-length documentaries on such varied topics as the rise and fall of Tower Records ("All Things Must Pass"), Mexican drug cartels ("Cartel Land") and the history of National Lampoon ("Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead").
