Want free pizza for a year at the new &pizza at Federal Hill? All you have to do is get a tattoo.
To celebrate the opening of its new Federal Hill location Thursday, the Washington-based pizza chain is offering one free pizza a week for a year to the first five brave customers willing to get the shop's signature ampersand logo tattooed on their body. The tattoo — which can be any size you want — will be done for free at nearby Brightside Tattoo Shop. You must get the tattoo on Thursday.
If that's a little to permanent for your taste, &pizza will also be offering a free pizza to each customer on its opening day.
The restaurant offers nine signature pizzas, two dessert pizzas, Milk Bar cookies, six craft sodas and three teas. Customers can also create their own pizzas.
Fans of the chain will notice that the Federal Hill location will offer two new signature pizzas: the Pineapple Jack, a take on a Hawaiian pizza with salami, pineapple and barbecue sauce; and the Salad Pizza, which features cucumber, tomatoes, pickled red onion and ranch.
&pizza is located at 1201 S. Charles St. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
