Johns Hopkins University's Evening of Traditional Beverages

The crowd listened to a brief history of the liquor, courtesy of Dane Huckelbridge, author of the new book, "Bourbon: A History of the American Spirit." Then they had the opportunity to taste several different bourbons, and compare notes with friends and experts on hand.
