Washington, D.C. resident Christie Balch, 32, showed off what she calls her "slightly funky style" at the Farm to Chef event at the American Visionary Art Museum. The Crossroads Community Food Network executive director wore a brown wool herringbone dress and brown leather envelope clutch, both designed and created by a local designer and purchased at nanadc.com. She added navy tights, brown buckle boots from pikolinos.com and a copper pendant from Treasury Vintage in D.C. She's been wearing the two spiral bracelets for 12 years. "They were put on me by women in a village in Tanzania and I've never taken them off," she explains.
