Count on an art teacher to know how to combine ease and fashion. That's what we found when we "glimpsed" Lake Clifton High School art teacher Jessica Barger, 25, at the Mt. Washington Tavern. The Canton resident modeled her "artistically comfortable" style in a black on white polka dot chiffon tunic ("my boyfriend calls it my Dalmatian shirt") and light pink silk/wool blend cardigan from Ann Taylor Loft, with Forever 21 skinny jeans. She snagged her little plastic rose stud earrings at Forever 21 and her gray leather cross-body handbag at Urban Outfitters. Her molten brass ring was a hand-me-down from her mom "from the 70s." She added swashbuckling flair with a pair of tan leather Chinese Laundry over-the-knee flat boots that she can also fold over to give them a bit of a pirate look. That's also is in keeping with one of Barger's fashion rules. "I never wear heels. I'm on my feet all day long and I want to be comfortable. And kitten heels are gross. In the words of [MTV's "The Hills" star] Lauren Conrad, 'they are the mullet of the shoe world.'"
