Civic Works & The Green Economy

Board members Ann Kedia, Suzette White and Jayna Powell, and Micah Powell, Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake ReStore assistant driver, had plenty to talk about at the gathering. Civic Works celebrated its 20th anniversary with "Civic Works & The Green Economy" reception and program hosted by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at Goucher College. Kennedy came at the invitation of his sister, former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, who co-founded the Baltimore-based urban services corps with Civic Works executive director Dana Stein.
