Countdown to Christmas craft

The early days of December leading up to Christmas can drag on and on, for kids and adults alike! Use this fun twist on an advent calendar to give a special treat to your child on each of the 25 days before the Big Man arrives!

(Tip: Choose neutral paint colors and use the sacks as a countdown to other special days throughout the year as well.)

Materials:
- Washi tape
- Number stencils
- 25 burlap or cotton sacks
- Craft paint
- Stencil sponges
- Rope clothesline
- Clothespins
- Small treats: lollipops, matchbox cars, stickers, etc. Or slip in a note with a fun holiday activity to do that day!

Directions:
1. Use washi tape to secure stencil to burlap bag.
2. Dab sponge in the paint (less is more!) and blot sponge over the stencil. Do as many coats as needed to get desired color.
3. Fill sacks with fun surprises and secure to clothesline with clothespins.
