Organizers ofLight City Baltimore, a new festival that will be held in spring 2016, are inviting artists, musicians, performers and innovators to attend a social meet-up and walking tour of the event's footprint.
Potential festival participants will gather at 7 p.m. Thursday on the 27th floor of the World Trade Center Baltimore, 401 E. Pratt St. to get a panoramic view of the Inner Harbor and identify possible locations for installations and performances. This will be followed by an 8 p.m. walking tour that will provide up-close glimpses of the sites.
The deadline for proposals is Aug. 31.
The event is being sponsored by the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts, Visit Baltimore and What Works Studio.
