This Sunday, Baltimore native Wes Moore and Oprah Winfrey will talk life purpose for a dose of weekend inspiration.
Moore, author and founder of BridgeEdU, a program that helps transition high school students into college, will appear on Winfrey's show "SuperSoul Sunday" to chat about his best-selling book "The Work" and BridgeEdU's growing initiatives, the Oprah Winfrey Network confirmed.
In a recent newsletter from the BridgeEdU website, Moore said Winfrey selected his book a few months ago to be featured on her show. Moore also noted that "All the Difference," a documentary produced by Moore and his mother, will air nationwide Sept. 12 on PBS. The film focuses on two African-American men who attempt to pursue higher education after graduating from high school.
“I am thankful for the chance to sit down with her to share more about the work we are doing and the challenges we strive to solve,” Moore wrote.
The "SuperSoul Sunday" episode will air 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday on OWN .
