WBFF to start morning news 30 minutes earlier

WBFF's Patrice Sanders interviews Andres Alonso in 2013 when he was CEO of the Baltimore City Public Schools. The interview took place on WBFF's morning show, which will start 30 minutes earlier at 4:30 a.m. beginning Jan. 16.

WBFF (Channel 45) will be starting its morning news 30 minutes earlier each weekday as of Jan. 16, the station announced Friday.

The station's morning news will start at 4:30 a.m. and run to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday as of that date.

"We've expanded the morning news multiple times in the past several years and each time Baltimore viewers have responded well," WBFF General Manager William Fanshawe said in a statement.

WBFF's morning show is co-anchored by Patrice Sanders, Tom Rodgers and Megan Gilliland.
