We are getting closer and closer to finding out who will be "The Voice"! After a Monday night filled with some of the contestants' best performances and some not-so-great performances, it was time for Cole Vosbury, Matthew Schuler, Tessanne Chin, James Wolpert, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin to learn if they advanced to the top five.
But first!
Getting the show started with holiday cheer was former mentor Kelly Clarkson. Kelly performed her new Christmas song, "Underneath the Tree," and gushed to Carson about her "baby on board" and her Christmas special, featuring none other than Coach Blake.
After Kelly left, it was time for three of the biggest voices in the competition to take the stage. Tessanne Chin, Matthew Schuler, and Jacquie Lee performed "You Got the Love" by Florence and the Machine, showing off their big voices and talent one more time
Blake followed with his season-one favorite, Xenia, for a little Christmas cheer in the form of the holiday classic "Silver Bells."
The first contestant in the top six to advance to next week's show was Team Christina's Jacquie Lee.
Along with holiday cheer came another week of "The Voice" confessional. This week, we learned what would happen if "they weren't on 'The Voice.'" CeeLo, of course, expressed how he would be a vet (who specialized in the birds and the bees).
It's a good thing Cole Vosbury made it this far, because there really is no telling how successful he would be as a comedian. We can definitely see Christina being a teacher, but Matthew Schuler the buffalo herder…not so much.
We also found out Tessanne would have dressed up more if she knew she would be working with "the sexiest man alive." And had Blake invested his money more…he wouldn't have this job.

Clever!
During the next round of saves, Team Blake's lone ranger and Cole Vosbury and Team Adam's Tessanne Chin, both made it onto next week's show, leaving a possibly grim future for Matthew, Will and James.
In the best performance of the night, James, Cole and Will teamed up with Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme for the classic "More Than Words," moving the entire audience, the coaches, even Carson.
For the night's final performance, the top 6 came together and delivered the Christmas classic, "Joy to the World."
America's last save of the night went to Team Adam's Will Champlin, leaving James Wolpert and Matthew Schuler up for elimination. After the twitter #instantsave, it was the college dropout who made it to next week's semifinals and kept the Team Adam trio alive.
Sadly, it was time for Matthew Schuler to go home, leaving Jacquie Lee to represent Team Christina on her own.
With the top five consisting of all three of Team Adam's contestants, and one of each from Team Blake and Christina, the final weeks of the competition are heating up. Who will make it to the Dec. 17 finale? Who will be The Voice?
