Appropriately, we found an engaged couple who not only watches "The Bachelor" but can't wait to recap it for you.
Tune in to the season premiere at 8 p.m. Monday on ABC and check back on TV Lust for Sarah and Chris' first recap.
We'll let them take it from here:
It was an accident. We had no intentions watching "The Bachelor" with cult-like fervor.
It happened during a snowstorm in 2010 when my fridge was full, but my DVR was empty. As we flipped through the channels, we heard a clip of "On the Wings of Love" (Season 14 with hot Jake and crazy-eyed Vienna) and next thing we knew, we couldn't stop watching the insanity of TV wife-picking. For better or worse, we are still watching "The Bachelor."
A little about ourselves to prove our normalcy after that admission: Chris and I are engaged, with a wedding planned in October 2012. We live in Baltimore and like to go on road trips, try new restaurants and hang out with friends. I'm a graphic designer and he's a job coach for mentally challenged adults.
We have a lot in common, except for our taste in TV shows. He's more "American Horror Story" (I can only watch it during daylight hours) and I'm more "Glee." "The Bachelor" is one of the only shows we watch together. We also watch it live rather than on DVR — otherwise we'll find out who got dumped the minute we get on the internet.
This season should be interesting with new bachelor Ben Flajnik — the long hair guy that lost at love in the "The Bachelorette."
Sarah: Ben's great-looking from the shoulders down and is way too sensitive. He'd be a great match for Michelle Kujawa, the mouth-diarrhea girl who couldn't stop crying in season 14, but I'm sure he'll find someone just like her soon enough. I also predict awkward first dates and exotic locations. I haven't looked into spoilers, but I did hear something about a horse.
Chris: I don't watch "The Bachelorette" (no cat fights or skanky dresses) so I don't know anything about the new bachelor. I do know this: the majority of the girls will cry and profess their love on the first date. I will gag at least twice per episode.
