'Survivor' recap, 'Getting to Crunch Time'

Baylor Wilson and the rest of the Survivors compete for Individual Immunity.
Baylor Wilson and the rest of the Survivors compete for Individual Immunity. (Wesley Case)

It's Night 21 at Huyopa after Tribal Council, and Reed is trying to put on a good face, but he's reeling because he wasn't expecting Josh to leave. Jon is feeling a little bit of remorse about leading Jon on, but still feels like he made the right decision by siding with Jeremy.

Keith is not so happy about it, and has no problem in talking about, and it seems like he's pinning most of the blame on Missy. That's good, Keith, focus on her because I'd like her gone. He even talks about pissing them off so much that they vote for him, but he can play his Idol and get whoever he wants out.

Reward Challenge time! They are battling on a shaky beam over a pit of mud. It's Wes, Keith, Jon, Jaclyn and Missy on one team, and Natalie, Reed, Jeremy, Alec and Baylor on the other. It starts raining and the mud is getting insane. Wes and Reed are up first, and Reed wins the first point. Natalie and Jaclyn are up next, and though Jaclyn has a longer reach, she misjudges a push and is off first.

Jeremy's team is leading 3-1, but Keith makes an awesome move against Alec and starts to even it up, and then Wes redeems himself against Reed, so of course they're tied. Each side gets another point, and then it all comes down to the. last. point. (Doesn't it always in this game?) Last matchup is between Baylor and Missy, and Baylor beats her mother, and her team wins reward.

Reward is a yacht cruise with lots of yummy food, and Natalie and Jeremy both decide to give their reward away to Jon and Jaclyn. Smart move to solidify their alliance. It was Natalie's idea, so go Natalie. The (new) winning team also gets to choose who goes to Exile Island, and Baylor immediately chooses Jeremy. Her thinking is that there is most likely in Immunity Idol on Exile Island, and this gives her alliance a chance to get it.

The very dirty losers return to camp and wash off. Natalie is pleased with herself (as she should be) and Wes and Keith are not so happy about it (but have to give her grudging respect.) They tell Natalie that all they ask is that they know when they are going to leave (which will give them a chance to play their Idol.)

Jeremy gets to Exile Island, and gets a new Immunity Idol clue. Is that a new Idol, or is it a different clue to the same Idol Jon found last week?

The winning players on the yacht are having a great time, with yummy food and drinks and even dolphins swimming with the boat. Reed is happy he's getting reward, but he's pissed that Jon and Jaclyn are there, and he's wondering if he needs to stir up some drama in order to survive.

Jeremy is sleeping on rocks on Exile Island, but at least he's got fire. But then it starts to rain, and he's feeling pretty crummy in the morning because of the lack of sleep. He climbs the same rock Jon climbed last week, and he suspects that Jon found the Immunity Idol.

Jon is also figuring this out back at the beach, and he's trying to think of a way to mitigate the damage from him not telling Jeremy about it. Given that Jeremy is a total control freak and expects everyone to tell him everything, good luck with that.

Immunity Challenge time! The challenge seems simple - untie a rope, assemble some pegs in a couple of circles with a flag in the middle. The catch? They have to do it with their feet.

Everyone is pretty even getting the pieces untied, and Reed and Keith seem to be doing particularly well. OK, Reed I expected to do well, because he's a dancer, but Keith surprises me. Natalie and Baylor are close behind, and Baylor catches up to Reed after Keith knocks his over. Reed gets caught on his last piece before the flag, and Baylor wins Immunity.

So will Reed be joining Josh on the jury? Or will Keith try to pull something off?

Back at camp, Reed is upset with himself for losing at the challenge, but promises to 'light the place on fire' before he leaves. This consists of going through Keith's stuff where he finds the instructions on how to use the hidden Immunity Idol.

Reed goes to Missy and Jaclyn with this information with the hopes of them keeping him around for another week. But he took the clue with him, which tips Keith off to the fact that someone has gone through his stuff.

Jaclyn tells Jon about what Reed found, and Jon apparently burned his instructions so no one would find it. Natalie and Jeremy are now suspicious of Jon since he didn't tell them about his Immunity Idol. Jeremy confronts Jon about it, but Jon doesn't confess. He does, however, go to Missy about it, and then tells her not to tell Jeremy because he doesn't really trust him.

Tribal Council time! Jeff starts out asking Jeremy about trust, and Jeremy of course has to bring up his reward sacrifice (pfft, it was Natalie's idea and you jumped on it). Reed has to bring up that their selflessness was completely self-serving. Jeff brings up the fact that no Immunity Idols have been played, but it quickly devolves into Wes accusing Jon of betraying them, and Jon pointing out that Wes and Keith shouldn't have been so rude to Jaclyn while Jon was gone.

Jeff gives Natalie a chance to speak, and she takes the opportunity to tell her alliance to stick to the plan and not get distracted by desperate people. Natalie is bordering on awesome without her sister around. I like her more every week.

Votes are cast, and no one plays an Immunity Idol when given the chance. First five votes are 3-2 for Reed and Keith, and Josh and Reed are looking pretty sad. But then the next five votes are for Jeremy?! As Natalie puts it, "What the *blank*, Missy?"

Next week: Natalie is super pissed at Jon.
