Kimberly Dozier to speak at National Press Club

CNN news analyst Kimberly Dozier, who was critically injured while covering the conflict in Iraq in 2006, will speak during an event at the National Press Club in Washington on Saturday.

Dozier, author of the book "Breathing the Fire: Fighting to Survive and Get Back to the Fight," will speak during a noon luncheon for the Pillars of Strength Scholarship Program, which benefits volunteer caregivers of wounded service members.

Dozier was injured while on assignment for CBS News, when the vehicle in which she and her crew were riding came under attack.

Tickets to the luncheon are available for $250, with proceeds benefiting the Pillars of Strength program. The National Press Club is located at 529 14th St. NW.
