Few of us might want to be like Frank Underwood, but maybe we'd like to dress like him?
Here's your chance. An Amsterdam-based company, LookLive.com, will be offering wardrobe items exactly like those worn in Season 3 of "House of Cards" within hours of the season's release Friday by Netflix.
So yeah, if you've longed to dress just like Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood or Robin Wright's Claire Underwood, this is the place for you. The list of items will be up on their site at 3 a.m. EST on Saturday.
"The show's characters are largely defined by their wardrobe," says brand marketing director Ruben Trustfull in a press release. "Frank's power suits help him dominate a room when he walks in, and nobody uses clothes like body armour the way Claire does. Claire wouldn't be Claire if she dressed like Hilary Clinton."
The site already has the wardrobe from Season 2 of "House of Cards" up for sale. You can buy a Burberry shirt just like Kevin Spacey wore, for example, for $350 (or a similar shirt, made by Hugo Boss, for only $149; for the economy minded, there's an Apt 9 shirt for just $21.99). And while an Armani jacket like Robin Wright wore in Chapter 25 is listed as "not available," you can buy a Rebecca Taylor very much like it for $425.
And you don't have to stop at "House of Cards." The website is already offering outfits for sale similar to those worn to last weekend's Oscars ceremony, as well as items seen on such shows as "Modern Family," "Pretty Little Liars" and "New Girl." You can even buy the same black wool dress Jennifer Lawrence wore on "The Tonight Show" ($1,614) or the silk blazer romper worn by Taylor Swift at London's O2 Arena ($1,994).
