This is Rachel...before she chokes.

Whatever you do, don't choke...especially if it's during the biggest audition of your life.

This week at William McKinley High, glee club's superstar standouts, Rachel and Kurt, audition in front of Carmen (played by guest star Whoopi Goldberg) for the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts, aka NYADA, aka the school of their dreams.

Rachel advises Kurt to play it safe with his song choice and stick to "Music of the Night" from "Phantom of the Opera;" however, in last-minute effort to be bold, daring and unique, Kurt wows Carmen with his rendition of "Not the Boy Next Door" from "The Boy from Oz." Carmen said even Hugh Jackman, who won a Tony award for his performance in the musical, would've impressed with Kurt's audition. Needless to say, he nailed it.

Little Miss Berry, on the other hand, not so much. She chose to sang "Don't Rain on My Parade" from her favorite musical, "Funny Girl." But she chokes, not once, but twice. After her second chance, Carmen ended the audition. Oh em gee!!!

And what's an episode of "Glee" without a valuable lesson? In the beginning of this week's episode, we see Santana, Brittany, Mercedes, Tina, and Sugar joking about Coach Beiste's black eye by referencing the Chris Brown/Rihanna Grammys 2009 incident. Coach Roz overhears the girls and long story short, we end up with the girls' assignment for the week: to take a song about domestic violence and make it empowering.

Well, the girls don't exactly stick to the script and they decide to perform "Cell Block Tango" from "Chicago," which is one of my favorite musical numbers, but that's besides the point. They look good, very good, especially Santana. I love it when she's all vixen-y! But they totally miss the point, as the song is about women killing their husbands. Oops.

Beiste leaves during the performance and confesses to Sue and Roz that her husband, Coach Cooter, hit her. The punching bag did not hit her in the face like she originally said. What the what?! When Coach Sue suggests Beiste leave Cooter, she says she can't because she doesn't think anyone else is going to love her. So sad.

Coach Sue invited Beiste to stay with her, but Beiste says she's moving in with her sister, Denise; however, we later find out that's not true. She went back to her husband. Nooo!

Elsewhere in the halls of William McKinley, Puck realizes he just needs to pass his European geography class in order to graduate. Initially, he gives up on the idea. But after a run in with his deadbeat dad, Puck decides he really wants to graduate, so the glee guys volunteer to help him study.

But in the end, it isn't enough..and Puck doesn't pass. Ugh.

Well, on a much needed happy note, next week is prom. Woohoo!
