Bruce Springsteen to play Royal Farms Arena in April

Bruce Springsteen is returning to Baltimore.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to Baltimore to play Royal Farms Arena this spring.

The Boss is heading to Baltimore for an April 20 show as part of "The River" tour. Tickets go on sale Feb. 5 at 10 a.m.

The Baltimore show is one of 14 new U.S. stops Springsteen announced, including stops in Dallas, Denver and Detroit.

At each show, Springsteen will perform the 20 songs from the album "The River" in sequence. The set also will include the classics "Born to Run," "Dancing in the Dark" and "Thunder Road." Before the 2016 tour he had only played "The River" live in its entirety once. (Fittingly, it includes the song "Hungry Heart," which features a Baltimore reference.)

Springsteen's last show in Baltimore was in 2009, though he's performed at Verizon Center in Washington since then.
