Craft-beer bar Growler USA opens in Rotunda in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood

Chain craft-beer bar Growler USA has opened in Hampden’s Rotunda.

The pub, the first Maryland location for the Colorado chain, is located in the mixed-use development at 727 W. 40th St., where it joins other Rotunda restaurants such as Mi & Yu Noodle Bar, Mod Pizza and Moby Dick House of Kabob.

In addition to beer, the 93-seat restaurant serves wine, root beer and cold-pressed coffee. The menu offers a modern take on pub fare with items such as Korean barbecued wings and a Reuben sandwich with Pilsner sauerkraut.

It’s owned and operated by Jay Jethwa and Jessica Dorsey, who fell in love over beers, according to a news release.
