The Baltimore Museum of Industry will welcome 12 local food trucks to its lot during a free-admission food truck rally on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The rally, organized by Maryland Best Food Trucks, will feature a mix of Baltimore staples like The Smoking Swine and Miss Twist, as well as newcomers like Dough Boy Fresh Pretzel Co. and Pablo’s Toc O’s.
The event is meant to share the food trucks with the community, said Willy Dely, who founded Maryland Best Food Trucks as a way to connect the rolling restaurants with gigs and businesses.
The rally will be pet- and kid-friendly with a bouncy house, local musicians and craft vendors.
There will also be a bar, and some of its proceeds will support Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, BARCS, which may bring some pets for adoption, weather permitting.
The Baltimore Museum of Industry is located at 1415 Key Highway. There is free parking outside the museum.
