'The Voice' singer Davon Fleming to visit the Elephant

Davon Fleming, the Baltimore native competing on Season 13 of “The Voice,” will make an appearance Thursday at the Elephant restaurant.

Fleming will be at the Mount Vernon restaurant at about 7 p.m. for dinner, when he will also meet fans, his spokeswoman confirmed. He will stay for the restaurant’s jazz night at its second-floor bar, according to Elephant owner Steven Rivelis, but he will not perform.

Reservations at the Elephant are available but not required.

Fleming wowed the Voice judges in his blind audition Oct. 2, when his rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Me & Mr. Jones” caused Jennifer Hudson to throw her shoe at him. He chose Hudson as his coach, and most recently survived the show’s round of “knockout” competitions to advance to the season’s top 20 contestants.
