The Gathering, Baltimore's traveling food truck rally, is meeting tonight at Stratford University in Little Italy. The event runs 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A new all-you-can-eat VIP option, which the event's organizers had planned to introduce at this rally, will now debut on Nov. 1, when the Gathering returns to McHenry Row.

But if you can't wait until tonight, there's a daytime food truck rally at the University of Maryland, at 660 W. Lexington St., between  Greene Street and Martin Luther King Blvd. About eight trucks are expected to roll in, including GrrChe and Bistro Lunch Box.
