This is prettay, prettay, prettay cool.
Larry David, the creator/star of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and, of course, a co-creator/writer of "Seinfeld," was apparently seen on the University of Maryland-College Park campus on Tuesday, escorting one of his daughters on a campus tour, according to UMD's student newspaper, The Diamondback.
The Diamondback reports that college officials wouldn't comment on the alleged sightings, but David is an alum (he graduated in 1970 with degrees in history and business), and his daughter is reportedly checking out colleges.
An unnamed source confirmed to The Diamondback that David was indeed checking things out on campus/perhaps reliving some old times at his fraternity, Tau Epsilon Phi.
The Washington Examiner reports that David was spotted with his daughter Monday night, dining at Blue Duck Tavern in N.W. Washington. In case you were wondering, they had shaved Brussels sprouts salad, risotto and fish.
David often talks fondly about his alma mater. "I liked their nickname, the Terrapins," he said in a round-table discussion with NBC News' Brian Williams in 2011." It was near Washington, D.C., it was only four hours from Brooklyn. I wanted to go to a big-campus school — they had a football team — and have a college experience."
Hopefully, his daughter will share his enthusiasm. We wouldn't mind having more David spottings in the future.
