BRIO Tuscan Grille is headed for a March 2 opening. The restaurant will be located on the corner of Pratt and Calvert streets, in a space formerly occupied by a Legal Seafood.

BRIO will occupy 7,200 square feet at 100 East Pratt Street, with indoor seating for 180 in addition to a 16-seat bar and 69-seat terrace. BRIO, which is described as "an upscale affordable restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine," will be open seven nights a week for dinner, weekdays for lunch and weekends for a "Bellini brunch."

Signature menu items at BRIO include the Bruschetta Quattro, Bistecca Insalata, Tuscan-grilled pork chops, Chicken “Under the Brick,” Gorgonzola-crusted fillet, lasagna Bolognese al Forno, Gorgonzola-crusted lamb chops, grilled salmon salad, crab cakes, tiramisu and torta di cioccolata.

Owned by the BRAVO/BRIO Restaurant Group of Columbus, Ohio, the Inner Harbor BRIO is the second for Maryland, joining an existing location at the Annapolis Towne Center.
