Rockfish dining promotion starts Thursday

The Downtown Partnership is bringing back the Rockfish Celebration, Feb 16-26. Twelve restaurants are participating in the 11-day promotion. You're just going to have to double up one day.

Here's who's doing what in this year's Rockfish Celebration.

B&O Brasserie — Rockfish with frog leg jambalaya, braised greens and gumbo sauce

The Brewer's Art — Daily rockfish entrees

Charleston — Chef Cindy Wolf will prepare rockfish for her tasting menu, subject to "availability of beautiful rockfish" 

La Scala — Rockfish imperial and rockfish San Remo (oven-baked and topped with fresh tomato and basil in a white wine sauce)

McCormick & Schmick's — menu to come

The Oceanaire — Grilled or pecan-crusted rockfish, pan-seared Maryland rockfish cakes

Phillips Seafood — For an appetizer, rockfish-and-tomato ragout over goat-cheese polenta cake; for an entree, a rockfish fillet stuffed with crab imperial 

Pickles Pub — Rockfish bites, a half pound served Buffalo style

The Prime Rib  — Chesapeake Rockfish Vielle Maison, blackened rockfish and rockfish stuffed with jumbo lump crabmeat, sauteed with white wine, lemon and sweet butter.

Regi’s American Bistro — Rockfish “Dynamite Style,” jumbo lump crab imperial, sweet corn pudding and sauteed string beans and baby peas

Ryleigh’s  — Roasted rockfish with Thai peanut rice and blackened or flash-fried rockfish bites with spicy cocktail and lemon caper aioli

Ten Ten —Gilled rockfish, fried Chesapeake oysters and French green beans

Waterfront Kitchen — Roasted Maryland rockfish with caramelized cippolini onions, Yukon gold potatoes, flat leaf parsley and black truffle jus
