Update: Concert news: Wale, Simple Plan, Sting, Dan Deacon and Wham City Comedy Tour

Another day, another Wale concert.

The Washington rapper, who just opened for Lupe Fiasco at Merriweather, and who'll perform at Morgan State's homecoming next month, announced a third regional date for this Fall.

He'll perform at the Fillmore Silver Spring October 22. Tickets, at $31, go on sale Friday.

Also doubling up on shows is Sting. This guy, who's out plugging a new 25th anniversary greatest hits collection, was scheduled to perform October 29 at DAR Constitution Hall.

He'll now appear October 30 as well. Tickets, at $56.40, go on sale Monday.

The Canadian punks Simple Plan are back on tour, this time promoting new album "Get Your Heart On!" They will perform November 26 also at the new Fillmore Silver Spring.

The tour seems to be going through several Live Nation mid-sized clubs, including three House of Blues clubs.

Ticket information was not included in the press release.

Update: Dan Deacon also announced Wednesday plans for a solo tour and the dates for this year's Wham City Comedy Tour.

The solo tour does not include any Baltimore dates, not yet anyway. He'll perform as part of the Wham City Comedy tour in Baltimore November 19 at the Courier Theater. That venue is located at 437 Preston Street, according to the tour schedule posted on the Comedy Tour's YouTube page.

The comedy tour, now in its second year, will start October 28 and go to over 20 cities. Ticket information was not included in the release.

The solo tour is prompted by the re-issues of two early Deacon LPs, "Meetle Mice," and "Silly Hat vs. Eagle Hat," which were released by Carpark Records last week. In October, Deacon will also reissue "Spiderman of the Rings" on LP.
