Recycling is always a good thing. Here are some quick new uses for old things to use in your garden, indoors or out.

Egg Carton

Save your egg cartons and use them to start seedlings. Just poke a hole in the bottom of each cup for drainage. I cut off the top of the egg carton and placed it under the bottom as a tray.

Pallet

My roommate turned an old pallet into a wooden herb box. She painted chalkboard paint on the front so that you can write in what’s coming up. Pretty cool, right? I was impressed.
