O.C. offers unlimited pass for boardwalk trams

Visitors to Ocean City this summer can purchase an unlimited ride pass for the boardwalk trams, allowing riders on and off privileges between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.

The new pass costs $6 per person and does have some restrictions. For example, passengers will not be able to use the pass during certain events, including Sunfest, OC Air Show and July 4th weekend.

Senior resident bus pass holders ride free from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, senior residents must pay $2 to ride the tram after 4 p.m. and during special events and some holidays.

Unlimited ride passes will be sold at both north and south ticket booths and on any tram. Regular tram fare remains at $3 per boarding. The trams begin summer service May 29, operating from 11 a.m. to midnight daily.
