Picasso at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York

What: The exhibit highlights some 300 works by Pablo Picasso from the museum's collection, including 34 paintings, 58 drawings, a dozen sculptures and ceramics and 200 prints, all acquired within the past 60 years.

The exhibition also features the return of Picasso's large Rose-period painting, "The Actor (1904-05)," which underwent conservation after being damaged in the gallery in January when a visitor lost her balance and fell on it. The accident resulted in a vertical tear of about six inches in length in the lower right-hand corner.

How much: Admission is $20 for adults; children under 12 are free. An audio tour, part of the Metropolitan's Audio Guide program, will be available for rental ($7, $6 for members and $5 for children under 12).
