Presidents Day at Mount Vernon Estate

Where: George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens, 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, Mount Vernon, Va.

What: Historic Mount Vernon celebrates George Washington's 278th birthday with music, re-enactors and festivities.

Note: Some outdoor activities may be scaled back because of last week's snowstorm.

How much: Free admission to the estate on Monday only. Otherwise, $15 for adults, $7 for youths ages 6-11, and free for children under 5.
