Outlook: The Cavaliers own a 5-3 advantage in the series, but the Fighting Irish have won the past two meetings. Virginia is tied for 10th in Division I in scoring at 13.3 goals per game. Notre Dame is allowing just nine goals per game and has developed an offense that has averaged 15.3 goals and ranks fifth in the nation. Who will have the better day: Cavaliers sophomore goalkeeper Matt Barrett (14.8 saves per game) or Notre Dame junior attackman Matt Kavanagh (5.5 points per game)?

No. 3 Duke women (8-0) @ No. 13 Louisville (5-1)

When: Saturday, noon

Outlook: The rising Cardinals are looking for a statement win and they almost had it Wednesday, getting a four-goal jump on No. 4 Boston College and not trailing until six seconds remained in overtime as they fell, 16-15. They'll try again against another top Atlantic Coast Conference foe. Duke has been rolling along, allowing just six goals per game and goalie Kelsey Duryea has a .566 save percentage. The Blue Devils have a 15-9 win over No. 7 Northwestern, but Louisville is better on the draw, with Kaylin Morissette winning 68 while Louisville's opponents have combined for 46.
