Maryland Fleet Week and Air Show 2018 full schedule

The 2018 Maryland Fleet Week and Air Show runs Wednesday through Tuesday, Oct. 9. Here’s the full schedule, according to the Fleet Week website.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

8 a.m.-3 p.m.: Ships arrive throughout the day at the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point

5 p.m.: Welcome ceremony at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater

Thursday, Oct. 4

Time TBD: Thunderbirds and other air performers arrive at Martin State Airport, 701 Wilson Point Blvd.

1 p.m.-6 p.m.: Ships open for public tours in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point

Friday, Oct. 5

11 a.m.-6 p.m.: Fleet Week Festival at the Inner Harbor, featuring food, entertainment and kids’ activities

1 p.m.-6 p.m.: Ships open for public tours in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point

5 p.m.-8 p.m.: “Meet the Fleet” Fleet Week Happy Hour at West Shore Park, 401 Light St.

Saturday, Oct. 6.

10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Martin State Airport Open House and Free Festival, featuring aircraft displays, food, music and more, at Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum at Martin State Airport. Festivalgoers can also see the Thuderbirds take off for that day’s air show.

11 a.m.-6 p.m.: Fleet Week Festival at the Inner Harbor, featuring food, entertainment and kids’ activities

11 a.m.-5 p.m.: Fort McHenry Park Experience, featuring all kinds of Fleet Week-themed activities including ranger talks and more. At Fort McHenry, 2400 E. Fort Ave.

1 p.m.-4 p.m.: Air show, featuring the Thunderbirds, over the Baltimore skies.

1 p.m.-6 p.m.: Ships open for public tours in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point

Sunday, Oct. 7

9 a.m.: Runners and more than 250 sailors take part in a 5K Inner Harbor run to benefit ship preservation.

10 a.m.-5 p.m: Martin State Airport Open House and Free Festival, featuring aircraft displays, food, music and more, at Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum at Martin State Airport. Festivalgoers can also see the Thuderbirds take off for that day’s air show.

11 a.m.-4 p.m.: Fleet Week Festival at the Inner Harbor, featuring food, entertainment and kids’ activities.

11 a.m-5 p.m.:Fort McHenry Park Experience, featuring all kinds of Fleet Week-themed activities including ranger talks and more. At Fort McHenry, 2400 E. Fort Ave.

1 p.m-4 p.m.: Air show, featuring the Thunderbirds, over the Baltimore skies.

1 pm.-6 p.m.: Ships open for public tours in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point.

Monday, Oct. 8

9 a.m to 12 p.m.: Historic and military ships open to students for educational experiences throughout the Port of Baltimore.

Tuesday, Oct. 9

8 a.m to 12 p.m: Ships depart from Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Locust Point and Fort McHenry.

9 a.m to 12 p.m.: Students sing patriotic songs while the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race fire a cannon salute at Fort McHenry.
