Eclectic: 'Huang Yi & Kuka'

The man and not the robot gets top billing in this dance collaboration, but just barely. The Taiwanese inventor, choreographer, dancer and videographer Huang Yi longed for a robot as a child. As an adult, he made a robot named KUKA to dance with. The duet they perform is a meditation on technology’s increasing prominence in modern life. 8 p.m. Sept. 25-26 at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Stadium Drive and Route 193 in College Park. $10-$25. — CK and MCM
