"Octomom" Nadya Suleman reportedly broke, could lose home

LA HABRA, Calif. -- " Octomom" Nadya Suleman is reportedly broke and could lose the house where she is raising her fourteen children.

Suleman tells RadarOnline that she only has a week's worth of money left and will do "everything she can" to avoid going on welfare.

The mortgage holder of the home, Amer Haddadin, says he doesn't believe that Suleman is without money. He says he thinks she's lying and wants his money now.

Suleman's attorney, Jeff Czech, tells the O.C. Register, his client found a way to come up with the September payment, which she had missed, by doing a television interview that paid her $4,000. He wouldn't reveal the show or when it will air.

"She's trying very hard to earn money, " he told the paper.

Suleman is facing a $450,000 balloon payment on the property which is due October 9th. She has been living in the home for a year and a half and Haddadin has already given her several extensions.

He says, however, this time he has no more patience. He has already started the foreclosure process.

Radar reports that Suleman wrote a book, but no publishers have expressed interest in buying it.

A reality TV show about raising 14 kids has also apparently fizzled.

She has also been given several offers from VIVID entertainment to star in a porn film -- the latest offer was reportedly for $500,000 -- but Suleman has refused.

Suleman gave birth to octuplets -- six boys and two girls -- on Jan. 26, 2009.

She also has six older children -- all the result of in-vitro fertilization.
