Notable It'll only be Sonic Bloom for a few more weeks. Next month, the band plans to change its name to Sonic Color. The band released its full-length debut, Looking Down at the Sky, in January. So why the new name? Sonic Bloom is also the name of a group from California and a music festival, Sullivan said.

Quotable "The first thing people find with any search engine is Sonic Bloom the music festival," Sullivan said. "That always gets in the way whenever I try to tell people to find us online. It's a very subtle change for most of our fans. I think it's a clever thing, putting something auditory with something visual. I like the change."
