Ever want to pick the brain of a prime minister or one of the 12 performers to receive all four major entertainment awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony)? Here's your chance.
Stevenson University's 2016-2017 Baltimore Speakers Series will include lectures from U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, former Israeli Prime Minster Ehud Barak and actress Rita Moreno.
The seven-lecture series, which will take place at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, will also feature talks by "Monty Python" co-founder John Cleese; Gen. Martin Dempsey, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and broadcast journalist and former "Nightline" anchor Ted Koppel.
The series, which begins in September, will close with a panel discussion on "Racism and Reconciliation" with former NPR host Michelle Norris, Wall Street Journal columnist Jason Riley and Morris Dees, co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Tickets for the full series range from $285 to $425. No tickets for individual lectures are available.
