For the first time after shutting down in 2017, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus is coming to Baltimore — but there will be no big cats or elephants.

The Baltimore Museum of Art is launching a series of exhibits in the spring to showcase contemporary Native American art.

William E. “Bill” Sheppard Jr., a digital designer, Maryland Institute College of Art faculty member and musician, died Nov. 5 at his Rodgers Forge residence. He was 73.

Leslie P. Symington, a Broadway and television actor who had a second career as a curator and an art researcher, died Sept. 20 at Gilchrist Center in Towson. She was 100.
