David Schramm, who has been giving a brilliant portrayal of Big Daddy in the Baltimore Center Stage production of Tennessee Williams’ “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” is sidelined “due to an injury,” the company reports.

Two performances earlier this week, Sept. 25 and 26, were canceled. On Sept. 27, seasoned stage and screen actor Matt DeCaro took over the role of Big Daddy and will remain in the cast through this weekend.

Schramm, perhaps best known for his years on the 1990s TV sitcom “Wings," is expected back in the production next week.
