Jonathon Heyward took over as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s 13th music director this weekend after performing three concerts in two counties for roughly 5,000 people, including Gov. Wes Moore.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Copeland, the former executive director of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum and a longtime, passionate advocate for the arts, died Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center. She was 76.
