Millersville woman receives $5K from national talk show 'The Real'

QueShawn Latimer, a Treasury Department employee from Millersville who is battling breast cancer, received a $5,000 grant from nationally syndicated talk show “The Real.”

Latimer, who is affected by the federal government shutdown, is a mother of three children whose oldest son is deployed in the military. She has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer and struggling to pay medical bills.

This week, “The Real” hosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley are reaching out to viewers affected by the shutdown. Each person they speak to will receive $5,000.

The identities of the viewers will be revealed each day live on “The Real.”
