The Pfeffermans are back for more drama in the second season of the Emmy-winning show "Transparent."

Amazon released a trailer Tuesday of the upcoming season, scheduled to debut Dec. 11, that showed the Pfeffermans gathering for a family photo with wedding music playing in the background.

The merriment is interrupted, though, when the photographer tries to give direction to Jeffrey Tambor, who plays transgender woman Maura Pfefferman.

"Did he call me sir? OK, we're done. We're done," Pfefferman replies.

"Transparent" was created by Chicago native Jill Soloway, based on her experience of having a transgender parent. Tambor and Soloway won Emmys in September for their work on "Transparent."

The Pfeffermans are back and and it’s about to get messy.
