The Blackhawks are getting some much-needed help as they try to snap a five-game losing streak. Goaltender Corey Crawford will be back in net Friday night after missing three games because of a lower-body injury, coach Joel Quenneville said.

Crawford participated in the morning skate Friday as the Hawks prepared to face the Sabres, who have the worst record in the league (7-17-4).

Anton Forsberg played well in two of three starts while Crawford was out, but Quenneville pulled him for Jean-Francois Berube in Wednesday’s 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

The Hawks also recalled forward Vinnie Hinostroza from Rockford. He wasn’t at the morning skate but will play Friday, Quenneville said. Tanner Kero cleared waivers, and the Hawks reassigned him to Rockford.
