Line: Wisconsin by 10.

Records: Northwestern 8-2, 4-2 Big Ten; Wisconsin 8-2, 5-1.

Last meeting: Northwestern won 20-14 on Oct. 4, 2014, in Evanston.

On the offensive: The Wildcats are 6-0 this season when Justin Jackson rushes for 100 yards. He ran for 162 on 33 carries in last year's win over the Badgers and has eclipsed 1,000 yards (1,033) for the second season in a row.

Getting defensive: Anthony Walker is coming off a 14-tackle performance against Purdue, including a career-high 10 solos. The sophomore middle linebacker has 151/2 tackles for a loss to lead the Wildcats.

The number: 28.8. Kickoff-return average of sophomore Solomon Vault, which leads the Big Ten.

The talk: The Wildcats are bowl-eligible after missing the postseason the last two years. An upset at Wisconsin would add to their resume.

Fred Mitchell's pick: The last time Northwestern won in Madison was Sept. 23, 2000. They will be hard-pressed to pull off the upset. Wisconsin 24, Northwestern 17.
