Despite many states easing their restrictions and social distancing guidelines, the coronavirus pandemic is still at large in the United States. The beginning of the school year is less than two (and in some cases one) month away, and a number of colleges are creating plans to keep students and faculty safe while still providing the best higher education possible. According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, 63% of schools intend to return to full in-person learning, 18% are proposing a hybrid model and nearly 20% are looking at a range of scenarios or moving completely online. Here is a look at the reopening plans of public, private and community colleges across the country.
